CRYSTAL DISK MARK X64 VER. 3 (OFILL)
There are different methods of testing solid state drives with Crystal DiskMark, the most common being through use use of random sample data or ‘oFill’ data in the test procedure. The manufacturer provides his specifications as we test with ‘oFill’ data. SandForce controlled SSDs utilize compression techniques that, when tested with random data beside a drive which doesn’t use compression techniques, leave an appearance that the SandForce is an inferior product.
This is far from the truth and also the reason that our SSD comparisons are done with PCMark Vantage, one of the only programs available that can provide an even starting point for both types of SSDs. The results that we see in this Crystal test not only match the listed specifications, but also, the 4K random score is one of the highest we have seen yet. This score will be a major contributor to Vantage scoring as we will see later on.
ATTO DISK BENCHMARK VER. 2.46
The ATTO results show the quality of the drive as the high sequential read transfer speed of 282MB/s and write transfer speed of 273MB/s are some of the best we have seen yet
