The Random Tests demonstrate best what the difference is between these two drives and, as stated by OCZ, it lies in the area of random access, specifically the 4kb and 512B levels. A quick click will enlarge both and one will see that the MaxIOPS has far superior results with 27726 IOPS compared to the V3 result of 8283IOPS at the 4kb level and then 24474IOPS compared to the V3 result of 9942 IOPS at the 512b level.
