3D MARK STORAGE GAMING BENCHMARK
UL Solutions has created a new storage gaming benchmark that we will start to use as new SSDs come in. The 3DMark Storage Benchmark DLC extends 3DMark Advanced Edition with a dedicated component test for measuring the gaming performance of SSDs and other storage hardware. It supports all the latest storage technologies and tests practical, real-world gaming performance for activities such as loading games, saving progress, installing game files, and recording gameplay video streams.
The Micron 3500 Client SSD maintained its performance through all tests, typically sitting right beside its brother T500 Pro.
REPORT ANALYSIS AND FINAL THOUGHTS
The Micron 3500 Client is going to become a very welcome addition to the Client PC system environment and it isn’t simply because of its performance. It is a 4-channel SSD that is naturally going to be offered at a price lower than we might typically see in an 8-channel high performing SSD. The Micron 3500 Client is as close to being identical to the Crucial T500 Pro as it gets. Considering all we now know of the T500 Pro, that is quite the compliment.
The Micron 3500 Client SSD has demonstrated data transfer speeds above 7GB/s with over 1 million IOPS; this has never been seen before in any client SSD that we are aware of. Those utilizing Micron 3500 SSDs would be doing themselves a great credit by identifying this SSD in their sales marketing. Great addition to the family Micron!
Lastly, as we cannot point to retail sales for this SSD, check the link below for the T500 Pro.
How to buy this Micron 3500 NVME SSD?? I don’t see it anywhere to buy it!
