As much as AS SSD will show you the amazing numbers, alot has to be said of the PCIe interface which eliminates any bottlenecks of SATA 2 and even SATA 3. Without this, we simply couldnt pull up numbers any where near these speeds as seen here.
This is a straight no-cache run here, and the results are tremendous, even higher than ANY result I have seen, cache included! So, for this to perform at this extreme high level without cache leverage is very impressive to say the least:
The AS SSD .ISO Test measures transfer/file copying speeds. There are two runs here, the first we have set up a very large pci-e packet transfer size to maximize seq throughput, the second result is tailored more for random access. The key thing we are trying to illustrate here is the vast configuration options for maximizing the controller for your specific usage patterns:
And finally, we will show the speed with compressible data, a new test for AS SSD.
