Kingston has impressed us immensely with the DataTraveler 2000! This hardware encrypted USB device not only gives you slick performance throughout, but it looks good too. As we said earlier, a security breach can cost an organization more than an arm and a leg, and it can be the result of simply losing a USB drive. Think of the number of people that carry a USB drive with them to and from work, what are the chances that the device contains something to do with work. It my be a confidential roadmap, or it may be some medical records for review. In any event, neither of which is worth the headaches of being compromised.
While we still believe the price of the DataTraveler 2000 is a bit too much for widespread adoption, we still believe the technology within this great device is worth the price, especially if security is one of top concerns.
