REPORT ANALYSIS AND FINAL THOUGHTS
Our testing of the ProGrade Digital Cobalt 165GB CFExpress Type B Card was much as we expected, in that this is a top of the line storage card. ProGrade bringing the capacity down just a bit opens that door for those that concentrate, as I, almost solely on photography. This card hit highs of just under 1700MB/s, 1500MB/s write, but most importantly… 1450MB/s
Closing off with where we started, the ProGrade Cobalt 165GB has the three features one would hope for in their CFExpress storage card; high sustained write speeds while maintaining a decent temperature along with excellent data transfer speeds. ProGrade has added a much needed capacity to its 325GB and 650 Cobalt family, one that has a decent price and they same 3-year ProGrade warranty.
