CORSAIR VENGEANCE RGB DDR4-3600 MEMORY (32GB)
Our memory today is the Corsair Vengeance RGB 32GB (4x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3600Mhz C18 memory kit and its timings are 18-19-19-39 at 1.35v.
It has a stunning built in RGB design which can be controlled by Corsair Link and its patented heat spreader design looks amazing and provides for great thermal dissipation.
We are still fine tuning this memory as it doesn’t want to reach 3600Mhz in this board but will sit comfortably at 3460Mhz. The XMP 2.0 setting is of no help.
Corsair RGB DDR4-3600 DRAM is available for $389 at Amazon and has a 4/5 star rating.
PNY GEFORCE GTX 1080 XLR8 GAMING OC
In testing the PNY GTX 1080 XLR8 with our previous system build, we were very curious how it would stand up in this system. Does the system make for better performance of the card? Regardless, with 8GB GDDR5X memory and a 1708Mhz base clock, thjis card is still no less than incredible.
This card is a bit pricey, running at $609 at Amazon, but is truly one of the top end cards on the market. It’s first run at Futuremark 3DMark Time Spy 1.0 brought in a score of 7428 which was better than 85% of all results, whereas our previous score was 6909 in the Z270 system.
A quick look at our CPUz information validates its core speed to be 1708MHz with 8GB of memory and with a 16nm footprint.
