CRYSTAL DISK BENCHMARK VER. 8.0.4 x64
Crystal Disk Benchmark is used to measure read and write performance through sampling of random data which is, for the most part, incompressible. Performance is virtually identical, regardless of data sample so we have included only that using random data samples.

REPORT SUMMARY AND FINAL THOUGHTS
There is so much good to say about the Samsung T9 and it all starts with the solid aluminum frame and rubberized exterior that has a great feel. Read speed for the T9 was as specified and we reached a high of 2006MB/s while write speed paled slightly at 1912MB/s which is completely acceptable. The T9 is fully compatible and would be a great choice for all PC systems, supports 256-Bit AES hardware encryption and has a drop rating of 9.8 feet.
The T9 comes includes security software that is very simple to set up and use, Samsung Magician is a free download and this SSD has a 5-year warranty. It is a content creators dream but for the price. When we compare this 4TB version to the two closest competitors with the same specifications, we see the Crucial 4TB X10 Pro at $289 and the SanDisk Extreme Pro at $314. Let’s see if this price comes down as it gets filtered to e-tailers in the next few weeks. Still deserving of our Silver Seal.
