As an SSD guy, it isn’t often that a computer chassis catches my attention and an even a further chance that one as compact as a mini-ITX compatible would turn my eye but such is the case with the new BitFenix Prodigy.
This little beauty was their reigning product for Computex 2012 and it definitely wasn’t the result of the potentially available color assortment alone. With a case this size, I never believed it possible to install a system that would fit my needs. Was I wrong!
The layout of the Prodigy has been very well thought out and it’s exterior has the famous BitFenix SoftTouch feel along with along with new BitFenix FyberFlex Composite Handles. Could this be a gamer?
Shown here with the BitFenix Recon Touch Display on the front, the system status of this gaming system can actually be monitored and adjusted remotely from a mobile device. Lets take a look at the inside without the gear…
With room for 5 x 3.5″ or 9×2.5″ hard drives or SSDs, 2 x 120mm fans in the front and another on the back, as well as an ATX power supply on the bottom, this system will definitely be a top seller. Add to that the compact size, light weight and FiberFlex handles and this is definitely worthy of a becoming a portable gaming chassis.
Heres a look at the system being adjusted via mobile phone. Stay tuned as we update this with a complete review in the near future!
These look beautiful!
