By now you have all heard of and maybe even tried Skyping with a friend or family member?
I personally love this option, while my son was in Afghanistan a few years ago it was our life line to seeing and believing that he was ok. With family across the country and a husband travelling over seas, it saves on long distance and gives you a feeling like your there with them when you chat.
I already loved this concept when, I heard of a great new use for it. Germ control?
A friend’s family, with the exception of her, had been hit by the flu and she was trying to avoid catching it at all costs. Mentioning this fact to her children, she was caught off guard at receiving a ‘skype call’ from her youngest son. When she saw that he was ‘ringing’ her, the first thing she asked was why he was trying to skype with her when she was in the next room. He then reminder her that he was sick but still needed help with his homework and this way she could help him and not catch his flu. Good thinking!
