Transcend’s ESD400 takes full advantage of solid-state technology and its lack of moving parts to create a portable SSD that is 5 times as shock-proof and vibration-proof as a standard mechanical HDD. At only 92mm long X 62mm wide X 10.5mm thick, and weighing a mere 56g, the ESD400 is approximately the side of a standard playing card, and fits easily into your pocket. Also included is a handy travel pouch to help protect the drive’s sleek outer case from scratches or damage.
Transcend enhances the value of the ESD400 by including a free download of their proprietary Transcend Elite data management tool. This convenient software tool allows users to easily perform incremental backups, secure their confidential information, and enhances their ability to manage data and increase productivity. The ESD400 also features a One Touch auto-backup button, enabling instant backups and data synchronization with your other computing devices, such as a desktop PC or laptop.
The ESD400 is being offered in capacities of 128GB (MSRP = $109), 256GB (MSRP = $189), 512GB (MSRP = $349) and 1TB (MSRP = $699).
