Transcend Announces Addition of 256GB Version to JetDrive Lite Lineup of Expansion Cards for MacBook Laptops

Transcend Information, Inc., a leading global producer of storage and multimedia devices, is announcing the addition of a 256GB version of its JetDrive Lite expansion cards for MacBook laptops, including MacBook Pro with Retina display and MacBook Air models. This is in addition to the 64GB and 128GB versions already available. Transcend’s JetDrive Lite expansion cards are designed for use with specific MacBook models, and each has a flush profile with the side of the laptop where it is inserted, creating a simple way to add additional storage capacity for media.

Transcend’s JetDrive Lite expansion cards provide substantial storage space for photos, movies, music, personal documents, backups and more. The JetDrive Lite 130/350/360 series are all now available in capacity points of 64GB, 128GB and now 256GB. Only the JetDrive Lite 330 series does not yet offer a 256GB version. Each Transcend JetDrive Lite 256GB expansion card can hold over 120,000 high-resolution photos, 64,000 mp3 songs, 64 hours of full HD video, or a virtually unlimited number of documents.
