Super Talent Technology, a leading producer of NAND flash storage products, is announcing the addition of the DuraDrive ZT3 solid-state drive (SSD) to its DuraDrive product lineup. The DuraDrive family of SSDs, including the new ZT3, feature enhanced performance, durability and reliability for environments where something tougher than a standard SSD are required. The ZT3 utilizes a ZIF/IDE interface, and the 1.8″ form factor SSD is available in capacities ranging from 16GB to 256GB, and in both MLC and SLC versions.
The ZT3 features the ability to withstand shock/vibration, humidity, altitude and temperature extremes, making it ideal for aerospace, medical equipment, industrial/embedded systems, and enterprise applications. User-friendly compatibility makes the ZT3 an ideal upgrade choice. For enhanced reliability, the DuraDrive ZT3 features ECC/EDC support, patented wear-leveling algorithms, and bad bit management firmware.
The ZT3 is rated for maximum read/write speeds of up to 125 MB/s and 110 MB/s, respectively. It also features a 128MB internal cache, and is reliability-rated for over 1,000,000 hours mean time between failures (MTBF). The SLC versions will be available in capacities of 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. The MLC models will sport capacities of 32GB, 64GB, 128GB and 256GB.
