LG will begin shipping its Z330 Series with the custom designed ultra-slim Everest-based mSATA SSD in 256GB capacities as standard equipment, providing a truly instant-on experience as well as a faster, more energy-efficient storage option than mechanical hard disk drives (HDDs). The custom developed Everest solution is 25 percent slimmer than traditional 9.5mm 2.5-inch laptop hard drives and SSDs, enabling the new breed of LG premium Z330 Ultrabooks to support lower height dimensions without sacrificing storage capacity, speed, or reliability.
