Lexar is announcing the new Lexar Professional SL100 Pro Portable SSD, which is currently the world’s fastest 1TB portable SSD, delivering up to 950MB/s reads and up to 900MB/s writes. The SL100 Pro features an aesthetically pleasing brushed aluminum housing that is drop-, shock-, and vibration-resistant.
The SL100 Pro’s slim size allows it to fit easily into a pocket or bag. It also features Lexar’s DataVault Lite software, which is an advanced security solution that utilizes 256-bit AES encryption to protect your files against deletion, loss or data corruption. The SL100 Pro features a USB Type-C port that enables storing and sharing of files quickly at USB 3.1 speeds.

Lexar is backing the SL100 Pro with a three-year limited warranty.
Lexar has made the SL100 Pro available this month at an MSRP of $99.99 for the 250GB model, $149.99 for the 500GB model, and $279.99 for the 1TB version.
