The M200 is an M.2 2280 form factor SSD that is designed for systems that require high speed storage in a low-profile form factor, such as notebooks, small form factor (SFF) PCs and HTPCs. The BIOSTAR M200 is an excellent choice for those seeking to upgrade their system with a new SSD, or to speed up their mobile device for improved performance, as well as improved battery life.
Newer-generation systems are being shipped with M.2 slots, and taking advantage of this will help you get the most performance out of your system. The SATA3 (6Gb/s) M200 comes in a low-profile design, allowing it to be inserted into most devices that support M.2 2280.
BIOSTAR is offering the M200 in capacities of 120GB and 240GB, and is rated for sequential read speeds of up to 530MB/s, and sequential write speeds of up to 410MB/s (380MB/s for the 120GB version). Your system will boot faster, and applications will load more quickly, large files will load faster and your overall system performance is more responsive.
