ADATA Announces SP600NS34 M.2 2242 SATA 6Gb/s SSD For Ultrabooks And Desktop PCs

ADATA Technology, a leading producer of high performance DRAM modules and NAND flash devices, is announcing their latest SSD offering – the Premier SP600NS34 M.2 2242 SATA 6Gb/s SSD for Ultrabooks and Desktop PCs. Users of this latest platform have expectations of “slimmer, faster, and power-saving”, and ADATA’s Premier SP600NS34 M.2 provides multiple features that enhance efficiency, including DEVSLP (device sleep), BCH ECC technology for error detection and correction, and support for Intel Smart Response Technology. SP600NS34 angledADATA is offering the SP600NS34 M.2 in both 128GB and 256GB capacities, with both on the M.2 2242 form factor that measures 22mm x 42mm x 3.5mm. ADATA combines synchronous MLC NAND with JMicron’s JMF670H NAND controller to achieve sequential read speeds of (up to) 550MB/s and sequential write speeds of (up to) 320 MB/s.

Adata SP600NS34 with laptopRandom 4K read speeds are stated as (up to) 75,000 IOPS, with random 4K write speeds of (up to) 77,000 IOPS. The SP600NS34 M.2 supports DEVSLP (device sleep) technology, which prolongs battery life by consuming less power than traditional “idle” states.

Adata SP600NS34 rear sideThe Premier SP600NS34 is equipped with a DDR3 DRAM cache buffer, which improves random read and write performance by up to 2X as compared to SSDs with no DRAM cache. The SP600NS34 also supports Intel’s Smart Response Technology, which can automatically identify data and applications that are most frequently used, and accelerate their data transfer rate. The SP600NS34 also utilizes BCC ECC (Error Correction Code) for error detection and correction, to the tune of 72bits/1KB to achieve excellent data protection and reliability.
