RunCore ProV 240GB SSD Review – Conclusions

CONCLUSIONS

In examining our reviews of the past few months, it has only been the last few reviews that SandForce SSDs have held top spot with such prominence. Our original intent was to tell you that the top 6 drives we have tested with PCMark Vantage are all ‘SandForce driven’ SSDs and all but one of these contain the SF-1200 series processor with what we believe to be new firmware  To be able to show that a single SSD can surpass that of RAID 0 of two of the top drives available however, is simply amazing.

The RunCore ProV 240GB SSD is the best SSD we have ever tested and the fact that it surpasses even a RAID environment in simulated true-to-life scenarios leaves us speachless. Its Crystal DiskMark 4k random disk access transfer speed of 80MB/s is also one of the highest we have attained yet and we knew that it would have a positive effect on Vantage testing. If this is an indication of what we are going to see this year coming, BRING IT ON!!!!

It is without question that the RunCore ProV 240GB SSD is deserving of our Editors Choice Award!!!
