    LSI 9265 + 8x Corsair Performance Pro 128gb Raid 0

    Hey Guys!

    I upgraded from my 9260 -8i to the 9265 8-i and retired my 8x 30gb vertex turbo drives.

    Here is a sneak peak of the results though they are not 100% up to par atm because of some controller and motherboard issues that i am working on having resolved with Comp / Paul the SSD guru who is assisting me at the moment.

    Here is the 9265-8 with the drives and with a fastpath Key.



    Once i get the issue resolved i will post the updated numbers.

    but i think 2 weeks from now i will have an ASUS RIVE board along with a 3930k and 16 gb of ram to get back the Max payload option and a few other options and in general to get away from the limitations of a Z68 board.

    Once i have addressed these issue with the help of Paul and LSI i will post some updated numbers .

    Ty! I am still experiencing a lot of problems with the write on these drives and raid card. I will contact LSI tomorrow morning to try and see if they can help me.. if not.. Im SOL!

    OK... SO im boned LOL.


    The Corsair Pro drives do not play nice with the lsi 9265-8i raid card so i just spent 2700 bucks and cant do anything with it.

    LSI isnt willing to help me with any settings or specific CLI commands and Corsair was kinda like " uh....talk to the "ramguy@corsair.com" maybe he can help".

    i may end up throwing my ocz vertex turbo drives back on my 9265 and keeping the corsairs until LSI or Marvell get off their lazy rear ends to address this issue but im not going to hold my breath.


    IF anyone has any ideas or thoughts please let me know as i have been stumped for about 2 weeks now attempting to get these drives to work with the raid card.

    BTW! i cant return the ssd's and i kinda dont want to return the raid card because i have the LSI Fastpath key as well and spent 190 bucks on that =(.

    post over on crucial this morning from mod stating they are getting very close to dropping a fix for the cards.
