heres something funny...a bit of insight here. At one time the CEO of OCZ said that he was interested in buying Indy...but they were valued too high.

OCZ then went with SF in its next gen, and the indy price dropped! then OCZ picked them up.

    coincidence?

    i think not.

From what we saw of the Indy controller in CES...looking forward to it....

Although these aren't the highs we see of some drives, these (IMHO) are probably one of the best 'all encompassing' CDM results I have seen so far

just goes to prove that decent randoms and ultra low latency CAN make a drive that doesn't score the highest in benchmarks give excellent overall results in real usage. The boot times are equal if not better than many modles with much stronger performance otherwise.

Also makes me laugh when people write things like.. "an SSD.. is an SSD.. and the latency differences between various controllers cannot be perceived by the end user". Bull-oney.

Ocz has a lot of time to work on it's firmware...the numbers are only gonna get better...can't wait. Speaking of waiting, now I'm torn between grabbing a pair of V3 MaxIOPs now before they switch to 24nm toggle or just waiting it out for some Indi goodness.

Several sites are reporting that OZC will show off the Vertex 4 with the Everest 2 Controller at CeBIT 2012 this coming week

OCZ to show off its new Indilinx Everest 2 based Vertex 4 SSD at Cebit by VR-Zone.com

CeBIT 2012 Will Host OCZ's Vertex 4 SSD Launch - Softpedia

Will there be a Vertex 4 MAX IOPS with 24nm Toshiba Toggle NAND?

That thing would haul like no tomorrow (if it happens) I do wonder about the relevance of a new product like this, especially as it will be carrying on the vertex name, in such a short timeframe. The v3 hasn't really been out all that long. However, I think its great that the storage market is releasing products people are interested in with product refreshes much like cpu's, gpu's etc
