Question for you, can the hd be replaced with a faster or larger one in the future?

Nope. Any attempt to replace the HD creates a misconfiguration in the initial BIOS which prevents the drives from being recognized.

One of your most interesting reviews, and it must have been one of your most exhausting as well. Nice photos.

Now, just when I was fully decided on the 512GB M4, I can't help but wonder if I wouldn't be better served by this Hybrid. I mean, twice the capacity for $240 less!!! Now I have something to stress out about all over again, thanks!

Yes... had a little fun with this one. As far as exhausting, it took a bit of time yes but I wanted a review that was not the same as the rest would be. As it turns out, I seem to be the only that tested all parts separately...
