Patriot said they are close to a fix. Who knows if it will work? GEN 3 SF drives are just to unreliable for my liking.
Had it BSOD on me last night. Had left it running overnight doing a download and when I checked it this mornig found it had BSOD'd during the night. Hard reboot and it's running fine again.

Patriot released their firmware yesterday, OCZ has a new one out today. Hopefully Kingston follows soon only with no links to the HyperX SSDs on any of Kingston's web sites (other than their press release announcing them), not sure how I'd find out.
Sam
Links? That would be good...

I've read on Patriot's forums people getting the new 3.3.0 via some updater software that must come with the drive as their download section still show 3.2.0.

Complaints and Suggestions about Firmware 2.13 - Page 4 ya im glad i bought the m4. sandforce 2281 is way to unreliable EVEN for the most proficient users and EVEN with the new firmware. the m4 i love it. its better, faster, stronger, stable as a rock and chews through incompresible data like a BEAST. oh yeah its also WAY cheaper.

Have been reading on the OCZ and Patriot forums and the latest firmware for both is having mixed results.

Had another freeze/dropoff last night this time while I was doing something on the computer. Have contacted Kingston support. I'll let you know what they say.
Sam
